Ok, this is going to sound really stupid, but here goes anyway:
What is Briess? Is it a brand, is it a particular grain?
The reason I ask is because I am getting ready to boil a batch today and I wanted to to put all of my information in The Beer Recipator.
Unfortunately, there is no Briess option when I select the grains.
Anyway, I am going for a High Gravity IPA with the following ingredients:
7lbs Plain Extra Light DME (Muntons)
2lbs Briess 2 Row
1lb Briess Caramel LoV 10
2 OZ. Warrior (15.4%)
2 OZ. Magnum (13.6%)
1 OZ. Centennial (9.6%) (Plug for Dry Hop)
Safale US-05 Yeast
Whirlfloc
I would like to be able to put all of those ingredients in a program so that I could have some #'s to work with, but some of those ingredients just aren't listed on the Recipator. What should I do?
Also, when and how much of the Whirlfloc to use???
Thanks Everyone!
