Added additional yeast (diff. strain) to get to FG. Worth keeping the slurry?

Because I now have a mixed yeast slurry on the bottom of the fermenter (Wyeast Whitbred & Safale 04) is there any point to keeping the slurry?

I guess what I'm asking is is there any issue with there now being 2 yeast strains comprising this slurry?

Do you care which strain is dominant? You could certainly keep and reuse it but there's no way to tell which strain you really have or if it's going to be a blend of the two.

I'd do it. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could split a brew in thirds and pitch a starter from the slurry into one, and each of the two into the other two. Then you could see how the three compare and know how much you had of each of them in your slurry. Might turn into something awesome, or it could be horrible. You'd never know without trying.
