Getting ready to brew in NYC

Hello there fellow beer lovers!

My name is Chad and I am excited about beginning my first brewing experience! A buddy and I have an idea for a brew and look forward to experimenting with styles and flavors to find something original.

Being an old hat at forums like these, I will use the search button before I post too many newb questions, but please forgive the occassional repeat question from an old thread.

Welcome Chad! I envy your location...love the city. You've found a good thing here with HBT, I'm pretty new here and these guys have been TONS of help. From before I brewed my first beer, to getting started on going all grain, this forum has been a huge help. Off the subject...you ever been to the Belgian Beer Bar?
