I racked a beer into a 5 gal secondary yesterday. This morning it had these white formations on top that look sort of like spit. Is that just gas being released from some nucleation site in the bottom of the carboy or is it possible this is infected? It should be at close to 10% alcohol and I hoped that would help ward off any bacteria...
Infected?
