Lo Guys,

Just wondering how you boil 5 gallons of water? I don't think my stove would be big enough to fit a pan of that size on!

I just want to use pre boiled water for everything.

Take care,

J

cheers guys, the UK sucks. You guys certainly have more things available and at a better price.

I am not sure whether I really need to boil 5 gallons if I treat the tap water with campden.

Take care,

J

Reason why I want to boil for doing an extract brew is because of a medicinal
taste I get in beers and failed brews. Anyway I think I have that in hand, ish :)

If I use campden tablets for the bulk of the water then I should avoid having to boil the water, correct?

Appreciate your help, sorry for newbie questions

J

I take it you are doing extract brews.
If your tap water is okay to drink then it is okay to brew with.
