Others post your experiences as well.

I made a munich Dunkel with wy2042 Made a 4 liter starter for 10 gallons of beer, cooled and decanted after 24hours on stir plate.
Pitched at 48f
Went from 1.070 to 1.019
racked to secondary after 27days

I liked the yeast flavor but it took 2 months to start to get clear, it doesn't flocculate much at all. Might need finning or wait a long time.

Not my favorite lager yeast. I liked wy2007 more, fermenting with wy2124 now.

IMO 2042 is a great GP lager yeast but I would use one of the Munich area/Southern German strains to do a dunkel. The 2042 is very good for basic lighter colored lagers including many of the American types. I have not experienced your clearing problems with the 2042.
