Just wanted any general advice or comments about this recipe:

2 gallon:
3.25lbs pilsner
.5lb wheat
.5oz Hallertauer hops @ 45 mins
.25oz Hallertauer hops @ 10 mins
.25oz Hallertauer hops @ heat off
Kolsch yeast

Mash @ 165° with 1.25 gal (how long do y'all think)
Sparge w/1 gal 170° water

Thoughts? I appreciate any input, thank you!

Looks like a solid recipe except I would not mash that hot. I would mash at 150 for 60 minutes. 90 Minute boil to drive off DMS, so compensate for evaporation. Ferment cool (low 60's).

Thank you for the advice! I will modify my procedure. Also what is DMS?
