I have the LHBS working on my 15.5g SS Keg, just got home where I picked up a 160,000 BTU burner for $25 at Academy Sports & Outdoors, Propane at Wal-Mart (never again..$44 wtf?)

I am damn near thinking about firing it up and doing the batch I had planned for this evening. ha

Now I need to get started on making a Mash Tun..any recommendations would be aprreciated. I have seen some elaborate setups and some basic setups. I'm going for what works.

I would suggest buying a propane tank and just getting it filled. If I could, I'd get a 100 pound tank just to save myself some money and trips. I just filled my 20 pound tank and it cost me $15. I assume you got the Blue Rhino tank from Wal Mart? If so, I think the trade-in is much cheaper, check into it. As far as mash tun, If you don't have a brewing cart I'd suggest getting a 10 gallon Igloo cooler and converting one of those. They seem to work pretty good.

Definitely spend the coin on a new tank and have it filled, if that is an option in your area. There's only one place here that does fills, and it's money well spent. Blue Rhino always short fills. I do swaps on my backup tank, but own my primary.

I will look into getting a backup..I also thought the Blue Rhino wasn't real heavy. I even mentioned it while at Wal-Mart. I got the burner assembled tonight..gonna boil my last 3g Extract batch tomorrow. Once I get my keg back from the LHBS..its full boils for me from now on. Cannot wait.
