I am fairly new to brewing.
The OG on my last batch was 1.096 (1 Gallon Jug)- Experimental Recipe
This was 3 days ago.
I added a full pack of Danstar Nottingham Yeast (Gluten free)... Which I did use in the past for a 5 Gallon batch of 100% Sorghum beer
I havent seen too much action in the airlock. I do know that it doesnt mean much, I just dont want to open it already to take a gravity reading.
The recipe (as I can remember it.... I'm at work lol)
2 lbs of Sorghum Extract (Briess)
.5 lbs Oats (Toasted)
.5 lbs Brown Rice (Toated)
?? Honey
?? Brown Sugare
Hops, etc...
Did I put too much? Too little? Was the gavity too high?.... Am I ever going to get to drink this beer???!!
I guess patience is the last thing a homebrewer learns.
