I have a Texas Blonde Ale from Austin Homebrewing fermenting now. This is my first brew and I am anxiously waiting. I tried a Ska Brewing True Blonde last night and didn't really like it. I'm new to this and don't really know how to describe tastes, but it was really bitter and a strong after taste. I hope my brew is a better. Anybody on here ever brew the Texas Blonde ??

I've never done or tried that one. That being said, I wouldn't persoally describe all blonde ales as bitter with a strong aftertaste - it may be that particular brew or batch.

I usually like a little more body that you find in most blondes, but I find them to be very drinkable. My next brew will be a Belgian blonde (Leffe clone).
