I've decided to add a second element because...well, I want it.
Question: The second element will be a couple inches above the first; but, where is the desired position as an offset?
I was thinking maybe 20 - 30 degrees to facilitate a nice rolling boil. But really, the second element is just for rapidly getting to target temp/boil. So, dunno.
Do you have any experience with this?
