There are hundreds of threads in regards to how/when/why to oak a beer here. But what I'm looking for is more of a profile of each type of oak and what flavors and characteristics it will impart on the finished beer. I'm continuing to search, but if anyone knows of a good resource to find this information out, please pass it along.
