Heating Cost Question

Ill be moving to Boston in the next month and I will be renting a place in Lawrence for 875 a month. Its 538 sqft and is heated by a oil or gas radiator.

Does anyone have an estimate as to how much my gas bill might be if I would like to keep my place at around 65 degrees F? Over $100?

Any info is helpful.
 
that's very hard to say, esp since we can't see the construction/use of materials in the apartment (windows, doors, insulation)

Could you ask the landlord for a cost estimate? or perhaps there are other people there that might offer some insight?
 
Likely not too much more than $100. I have 1700sf heated by gas (hydronic), it was not more than$350/mo last winter (also includes gas dryer, range and HW heater). Oil hurts because they deliver large quntities at one time - save up for that bill if you have oil!
