Does anyone have a sampler platter that they serve to guests who wish to sample a little of everything? I'd like to have something like this and I'd like to get ideas if anyone has any.

I've found these smaller serving glasses.

They seem like they would work well, but I'd have to make a platter for them. Anything I've seen with any type of tray is a little pricey and I don't mind making my own sampler glass platter.

What do you guys think?

I've seen a tray for samplers made from a board with holes drilled part way through to hold the sampler glasses. You could wood burn a logo into these if you wanted to make them more fancy or do a bas relief carving of a scene that would exemplify your brewing.

Here's one from northern brewer

Here's one I picked up at the MN state fair

You can also check out www.vinobrew.com They have all kinds of beer flights and sampler paddles. Perfect for serving a selection of home brews. Customization options too for laser etching names. Makes a great gift.

I like the vino brew stuff even though I'm not sure if that post should be considered spam or not. After all, I was asking for ideas and that website has plenty of them.

This is where keeping Homebrew Finds in your RSS reader pays off... they've shown this Libbey set on sale a few times in the last few months.

i love being able to show people my beers in flights plus i have a 4 tap keezer so it works perfectly

I was giving my father-in-law a tour of my brewing room and showing him my kegerator. Served him a 1/2 pint of my imperial red, which he promptly downed, declared my beer was excellent, and served himself another pint. That was his first and last beer of the day, skipping my glorious RIS, Kentucky Common and Ruination clone. It was at that moment that I decided I needed to acquire beer flights, as I too have a 4 tap kegerator.

After 48 hours looking for deals on pre-packaged flights and finally pairing my favorite scotch with a whiskey stone in a Glencairn glass, I decided on buy 12 Glencairn glasses that'll split duty between serving scotch/whiskey and three flights. They should be waiting for me when I get home this evening. I plan on spending some time manually drilling and sanding holes in some spare wood that I've got, and then I'll work on finding the right paddles.

If things go well I'll try to post pictures/end results.

If you do not care if there is stuff on them I love these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Set-of-Ten-...494?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d083be7d6

I have some like those I buy from thrift stores in my area whenever I see them. I might be able to remove the Coke label but I have never really tried. I like these because they are a good size IMO.

BTW that link is for the pic mostly. I am not selling those and have no idea who the seller is...
