too much headspace?

I bottled my second batch today. I got 48 bottles+ out of the batch. Instead of putting the extra into more 12 oz bottles, I opted to fill a 1 liter fliptop bottle. The fliptop bottle did not fill completely, maybe 3/4 full. Is there too much headspace in the bottle which would keep the beer from carbonating?
 
Too much headspace won't kill carbonation, it'll probably carbonate faster than the other bottles. It's too little headspace that'll kill it. And actually, it'll still carbonate with no headspace, it'll just take longer.
