So I made my first beer and freakin' love the experience. Now I am looking for my next conquest. Hefeweizen is in my bullseye.
Questions: am I being too cocky moving up to partial mash recipes?
I've read some posts and it does not look too scary, I just wonder if I am being overly confident and in reality it is bit more complex than something person on his 2nd beer should do.

you have to start sometime. and if you fail so what? you aren't out too much money just the cost of the ingredients and your free time.

If you can make tea, you can do a partial mash! Pay attention to the temperature and amount of water (make sure you have a decent thermometer) and you'll be fine!

Would you say there is a noticeable difference in flavor between extract kit and partial mash kit?
