I washed some yeast from a CDA w/ an SG 1.064. I always here that it's best to pitch the yeast from lower SG to higher SG. I was planning on brewing an APA with an SG 1.056, 8 points lower than what the yeast are now used to. What are the implications for repitching yeast from higher to lower starting gravities?
