Help Needed:)

I want to ask a question that i think is stupid but i want to make sure.
I'm getting a CO2 tank,carbonator pump and a keg
Now the water will from water line into carbonator then out to the keg? or am I stupid?
then to get soda water out of the keg (without using a fountain head),I'll connect a soda gun to the keg.Is that right?
I want to get only soda water from the carbonation system and i'll add syrup manually.HEEEEEEEEELP

Sanitize your keg, add water, connect CO2 to the "IN" side, connect your dispenser to the "OUT" side, set pressure from 10-13lbs acording to this chart Draft system line balancing let it sit for a week in a fridge and you should have soda water.
