Looking for a good birch beer recipe. I was thinking about adding birch bark to the 'Homebrew birch beer stuff' available to give it an extra birch flavor but not sure if that would be overkill or not.
Do I soak the bark in 200 proof for a few days/week and make a tincure or just use the bark 1 time? Its $5.00 for one ounce, so its a bit expensive for one shot at a batch. There is bark online in one ounce for
