Hello everyone, just got through with my second batch. I did the Amber Ale kit from Midwest. I cooked my wort on a 1800 watt Max Burton induction cook top. These things are amazing! It got me out of the kitchen (wife's domain) down stairs to my bar, (our domain) I brought 2.5 gallons of wort to a boil and maintained it at half power! Best $70 I have ever spent.

Welcome to the forum! Just finished drinking the Amber Ale from Midwest, you won't be disappointed.

I am looking forward to the finished results. I used the Fermentis Safale US-05 yeast. I had a bubbling airlock within 6 hr. after pitching the yeast, indeed a welcome sight.
