Those elders, I want a big starter to pitch by Sunday for my IIPA. Ive done it be4 and forgot how long to boil and how much(DME)? Yeast is WLP001. Thanx in advance.:mug:
 
Try two cups of water and a half cup of DME boiled for about 15-20 mins. You can double or triple (or quadruple!) this formula ratio. I've done 3/4 gallon starters this way.

If you swirl the solution often or use a stirplate, you can usually get quicker yeast propagation.
