Those elders, I want a big starter to pitch by Sunday for my IIPA. Ive done it be4 and forgot how long to boil and how much(DME)? Yeast is WLP001. Thanx in advance.

Try two cups of water and a half cup of DME boiled for about 15-20 mins. You can double or triple (or quadruple!) this formula ratio. I've done 3/4 gallon starters this way.
If you swirl the solution often or use a stirplate, you can usually get quicker yeast propagation.
