I just brewed up an American Wheat, and want to add a fruit flavor to it, say blackberry or raspberry. I've seen small 4 oz. bottles of fruit flavoring, and have also seen big cans of Oregon fruit puree. I know the 4 oz. bottle would be used when kegging or bottling, but I'm also thinking I could throw in the can of Puree during fermentaion.....

Any thoughts on what would work out better.......

Agreed. Or just add frozen (thawed) pasturized fruit. I make a strawberry wheat once a year that way, it's delicious. Be sure to account for extra attenuation and a higher OG when adding fruit. The sugar it provides is highly fermentable.
