I have a batch of blonde ale about to go into cold crash mode. In a couple of days I want to re use the yeast cake of US-05. Are there any potential problems in doing this. I plan on giving the yeast a day or so to gradually return to 65-70 F. Thanks.

One problem with using a yeast cake could be selecting the yeast with the higher flocculation. Cold crashing will help get those that just don't want to go dormant. I've done it with no problems. You still should try to use a proper pitching rate.
