I've had trouble finding any stainless steel washers at the local hardware stores, and saw that people were buying them from Fastenal on here. I have 4 5gal rubbermaid water coolers that I'm converting. Would the following be the right thing to order?

Thanks!

Maybe. What is the OD of the nipple going through the side of the cooler? That's what will determine the proper washer size.

At most HD's in the hardware drawer section there's a 'build a bolt' kit that has a couple of washers and a few nuts. It's about $5.

He says to the guy in St. Louis, Missouri.

Also, I bought "stainless" fender washers at a local hardware store and the inside one rusted like crazy. The ones from Fastenal have seen 20+ mashes now and still look perfect.

To the OP, those are the exact ones I used...Fastenal SKU #1171026:
