- my best attempt to clone the Three Floyds brew
Here is my attempt to clone Zombie Dust by Three Floyds. I welcome any feedback or suggestions on how to make it more like the original although I am so thrilled with the results it will be hard to make any changes. I believe this to be an excellent brew and very close to the original.
I did use WLP002 instead of WY1968. I can only get White Labs locally and my mail order of WY1968 arrived at an unexpected 85F. Instead of taking a chance I ran to the local shop and picked up some WLP002. Also, the brew finished at 1.010 for an abv of 7.3% which is higher than the original but not discernable to me.
Note: This is a 20 gallon recipe so for 5 or 10 gallon brews divide all ingredients by 4 or 2 or just go by percentages/IBUs.
