Pretty proud that Knoxville is the only major city in TN not on the list! Glad I could help!
Despite it's name, I'm willing to bet Sober Valley Lodge would top any state by itself in drunkeness...
well now i know where not to live :fro:
On the contrary. Now you know where to move so you can help improve the averages!
Cool stats, don't know how Cleveland and Cincy got ranked and Columbus didn't. Both of these cites are shrinking and C-bus is growing. C-bus population is close to the combined totals of Cleveland and Cincy.
We also have the third largest university in the US that has one of the largest tailgates 5-6 times a year, outside of a NASCAR race this is the largest that I have ever experienced.
Not sour grapes, it just doesn't seem to add up to me.
There must be a population limit to these lists, because having lived in several ski towns throughout my life, I'd say that most would kick the living **** outta Milwaukee for title of drunkest....something on the order of 40% or 50% who exceed 8 or 10 drinks per day. Hell, having worked at Kirkwood in South Lake Tahoe for a bunch of years, I'd bet 1/3 of the people lined-up for opening chair at 8:00 am had an open beer in their hand, and everyone wrapped up their day @ a kegger party.
