I just finished mashing my second All-Grain BIAB. I didn't have much water loss to the grain, so I ended up with about 1 Gal too much pre-boil. Should I Boil it down to the expected pre-boil level before adding my hops?

This will mean close to a two-hour boil time. Is that going to affect anything?

About to grab some wort to take a gravity reading now.

I would just boil to your expected pre-boil level before adding the hops
it just may make the srm,s just a tad darker i could be wrong on the srms
I have done a few 2 hour boils everything worked out fine

Guess that is what I do. I'm guessing the double crush I got from BrewMasters Warehouse was fine enough that I didn't absorb as much water in the grain. Also looks like my OG may be a little high. Currently it's at 1.035 a gallon over target, and should be at 1.40 when I hit the proper volume.

Oh well just gives me more time to drink more homebrew :)
