Hey guys, my apologies if this has already been discussed (I am sure it has) but I couldn't find it in a search. Here goes...

I kegged a Summer Ale recently and have been enjoying it, but I didn't bottle any of it this time around. I force carbonated the beer with my co2 tank. IF I were to fill a few bottles from the tap and seal a cap on top, would the beer stay carbonated or would it go flat? I would think the carbonation would be locked in and would keep the beer nice, but I don't want to make that assumption. Figured I would ask rather than try it out first. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
