So I'm brewing my Fat Tire Clone today. I got the recipe from the book "Beer Captured"
It calls for .33oz of Magnum Hopes (14%AA)
My Magnum is only 12.5%AA, so I bumped it up to .66oz and the IBU's are coming out at 26.4. (The book said IBU of 21)
My other hop additions are a .5oz Hallertauer (4.3%AA) at 15mins
and .25oz Willamette (4%AA) at flameout
Just wondering if anyone has hopped up a Fat Tire Clone before though.
I have 1oz of Magnum Hops and I'm thinking it dumping it all in. The IBU would be 38.5. Not sure if that would be too much bitter for an Amber though
