Had a local brew recently and would like to try something similar. Does anyone have a good recipe for a cocoa porter?

Man, doesn't look like you tried very hard to find this, search is your friend lol....Here you go:

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f126/cocoa-cayenne-porter-173496/ (omit the cayenne if needed)
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f126/socias-black-chocolate-robust-porter-ag-157403/
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f36/anyone-have-chocolate-porter-recipe-206297/ (good ideas here)

Or, brew this recipe
https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f126/edmund-fitzgerald-porter-clone-248008/
and add cocoa to it. It gets great reviews. 8 oz. to 1# in the boil will do the trick.

Thanks. I'm brand new to this site, wasn't sure where too look for recipes. I found the section for that now. Taking a look around first would have been a better idea, lol.

haha, it looked like you were new. That's why I wanted to assist you instead of being a complete jackass and just telling you to search for it.

I would just go with the Edmund fitz clone and add cocoa. Any good base porter will work though
