I'm boiling a PM version of a robust porter and just noticed the recipe batch size is 6 gallons and not the usual 5 or 5.25. What a dopey move on my part. Anyway... My boil kettle is maxed out and I am fermenting in a bucket.
Should I...
A. Say screw it and end up with a bigger beer? I'm pitching a good starter so I'm not too worried about that aspect.
B. Split it into 2 buckets and top off so that they are 3 gallons each?
