When I bottle I use mostly 12oz bottles and 4 or 5 bombers. The bombers almost always take longer to carbonate and seem the age at a much slower rate.

I bring this up because I brewed a batch of Coffee Stout and while I have been drinking the 12 oz bottles of this very tasty brew I opened bomber yesterday and WOW - it was green! tasted very young.

I just found this interesting.

I'd age the 22oz bottles at least a couple weeks longer than the 12oz.. How long have they been bottled so far?

I think they are taking longer to carb, it might be the thicker glass, or higher volume. Maybe the temp stays cooler in the bigger bottle. I've had the same problem.
