so, i have a question on building a hop stopper vs. using a domed false bottom in my brew pot. the pot i have is 9 gallons with a ball valve (viewed here). i use good ol' gravity to feed my counterflow chiller. during my last brew, i had a little slow down issue because of some pellet hops that had broken down and they got lodged in the chiller.
my question is which would be the most economical / most efficient, a domed false bottom where the siphon goes through the hole in the center of the bottom. or, do i concoct a hop stopper thing like bobby m and run the siphon through it?
