Hey guys,
I started a Brew House Red Ale using Wyeast Irish Ale 1084. I did a starter as well for this one with an F.G for the starter at about 1.10. I aerated pleny and setup my 6g carboy. Afer 20-30 mins I notice that there is a 1/4-1/2" Trub-like settling of the yeast already. The website says low-medium flocculation. Should I be seeing this already? If so, should I be shaking the carboy often until I see krausen to distribute the yeast so it can feed, then leave it?
Thanks in advance!
