So, I know some people have used Hefe yeast in ciders....I've got one in secondary that I used hefe yeast on and I've got a question:
Hefe's are supposed to be drank young and I had one that hung around for a little too long and started tasting really bland...and just not good. Was this a product of the yeast or just the beer style?
I'm asking bc I'm planning on giving this cider out as christmas gifts and I don't want it to get funky like aged hefes.
So, anyone age a cider made with hefe yeast?
