Is it cool to use twist top bottles with reg. caps/capper?

I wouldn't think you'd get a good enough seal using the regular caps on a twist off bottle top.

Impact capper? Heck, just drop a rock on your beer bottle. That'd make a nice impact.

You can try, but I doubt it would work. Last batch I had saved some twist offs by accident and it was pretty apparent when capping them. They caps could easily be pried off with your fingers, they didn't stay on well at all.

It does depend on the capper, but I have used twist caps often with my old bench capper and have had no problem. We used them sometimes at the brewery with out any problem. If in doubt, bottle a couple next time and see what happens.
