The in-laws gave me $50 to Midwest Supplies for my birthday. I'm thinking of buying a 5-gallon carboy for lagering.
My thinking is to primary in the 6.5 gallon fermenting bucket for 2-3 weeks, then 12 weeks in the 5-gallon carboy in a temp-monitored dorm fridge.
What say you? Any suggestions/tips/ideas?
