yes, but it doesn't come through if you add it to the fermentation.

Much better luck adding it after fermentation.

I use one table spoon per gallon and the cherry flavor comes through quite well.

If you want a subtle back ground cherry flavor, cut the amount in half.

I keg, so I don't have to worry about bottle bombs. I'm not sure how much the high fructose corn syrup in grenadine would affect it if you add it with dextrose at bottling. Someone else might know, or you could google the fermentable sugars in high fructose corn syrup.
