I love cooking, and more specifically, recently Ive been making my own pizza dough using baking yeast. I made some with spent grains, just a straight up dough with flour, etc. They've turned out pretty good! Way better homemade than Dominos.

Anyways, Ive been thinking, has anyone tried using brewers yeast to bake with? I know its more expensive, could be used to make beer instead yadda yadda. But it could still be fun to toss some US-05 or otherwise into dough and see what happens. Has anyone done this?

Ive made beer bread and the residual yeast in my homebrew does a great job at making it rise, so in theory this could work. Just not sure how well haha.

So lets hear it. Anyone done it? What were your experiences if so
