Do you need to cool kegerator lines?

Hi All,

I just bought this kegerator: http://www.beveragefactory.com/draftbeer/kegerators/BC-1206S-2.shtml

Do I need to build something (i.e. install a fan somehow) to cool the lines? Trying to determine if it will be necessary. I know a lot of you have built kegerators out of 4912's. Did that involve a fan to cool the lines or does the beer pour cold enough?

You could but I don't think it would be necessary. You will only have about 10 inches of tube outside the fridge so that's probably like 1.5 oz of beer not sitting at fridge temp. I would say that's rather insignificant. It will only really effect your first draw of the night and the other 10.5+ oz of beer is going to cool the 1.5 oz rather quickly.

You should be fine.
