I have always loved Amaretto and now that I have a few home brews under my belt I'd love to try and incorporate the flavor into a beer--also I need something that girls will drink. I was thinking of adding some amaretto at bottling to a maybe a Hefe, but am unsure of an amount. I'm also not attached to a wheat beer, if there is a superior alternative. I could also try incorporating a variety of ingredients (apricots, almonds, prunes, peaches) which may impart a similar flavor. A subtle hint of the flavor is all I want. Thanks for any advice!

i have wondered the same.. cherry choc stout w/ amaretto like queen anne choc covered cherries

i know might not be that good... but maybe it would be awesome

Your LHBS should carry an almond extract that'll get you the flavor you're looking for.
