How do you guys dry hop in a carboy? Do you use a bag and try to stuff it through the little carboy neck or just throw 'em in?

I've got an ounce of amarillo (leaf) that I want to dry hop with.

Northernbrewer has a handy cylinder type dry hopping strainer thing that can easily be added and extracted from a carboy. Not sure of the price as I couldn't find it on their website, just the paper catalog.

Thanks guys, I just threw 'em in!

Will leaves just sink on their own?
Do they usually settle in a week?

Go back in the morning and see what the hops bits are doing on the top. Give your carboy some gentle shaking to get them into the beer and settling.
