To all who have ever made comments about using a 5 gallon paint strainer in your brewing, THANK YOU
I used two strainers today, one in the boil kettle so that I had a "clean" area to siphon from, and another shoved down into the carboy, with the line from my CF chiller going into it. I was brewing BierMuncher's Centennial Blonde, and it has a decent amount of hops in it. The first strainer kept the majority of the hops and hot break out of the chiller, and the second strainer caught the last little bit, and what I got was fantastic looking beer into the carboy.
