Tasting Notes
Should have nice maltiness and aroma.
A few notes:

Toast 1 lb Golden Promise for an hour in a 350F oven. Crush and mash with other grains. This will increase the SRM a bit, but the estimation should be pretty close.

Boil about 2 qts of the first runnings separately and reduce to 1 qt. Add with 5 mins left in the boil.

Ferment at 60F for 3 to 4 weeks; condition in a secondary at 70F for 2 to 3 weeks.

Used gelatin in this one. Knox unflavored. Half pack. In 200 mL water boiled for 5 minutes, cooled to 150F. Let sit for 10 minutes, swirled and poured on top of racked beer in the keg. Set to 30 PSI for 48 hours, then to 12 PSI for 24 hours. Half pint trashed, then, THIS:

And boy does it taste good. What a surprise! I was going for something like Bellhaven Scottish Ale. It's not exact, but it's mighty tasty! And that's coming from a hop head! Maybe a nicer image with a real camera soon...
