I have hijacked different recipes across the board to come up with a cream ale that I would like to try. Any suggestions especially on hops would be appreciated.

Extract:
7 lb Coopers Light DME

Specialty Grains:
1/2 lb Flaked Corn
1/2 lb Honey Malt 15-20º L 3 Gambrinus (Canada)
1/2 lb Flaked Rice
1/2 lb Carapils (dextrin malt) 1.3-1.5º L Briess Malting (USA)

Hops:
0.5oz Liberty for 60 minutes
0.5oz Liberty for 15 minutes
0.5oz Liberty for 1 minute

Yeast:
White Labs California or American Ale

Would Appreciate any comments or suggestions.

i've always used lactose in my cream ales.

but don't ask me to look up recipes or anything since i've had some whiskey tonight...

have you considered using lactose? i've also kept my cream ales low on hops (like your resipe shows). maybe it's just me?

go get yourself a genny cream ale, and then make something creamier and better. and this from someone who likes genny cream ale.

how much corn does the board recommend. I remember once Dude saying something about 2 lbs., but I could never tell if he was being sarcastic or not.

I've been curious.
