I just got BeerSmith, and I was tinkering around with some ingredients I have on hand, and came up with this recipe - my first from scratch! What do y'all think?

Also, do you usually just copy and paste the recipe from the "scratch pad" portion of BeerSmith?

People will probably tell you to move your 30m hop addition to either 15m or 60m. 60m for more bittering or 15m for more flavor.

How did this turn out? If I want to do a 5 gal batch, do I just half the ingredients?

I dont quite remember how that exact batch went, since this was a while ago and Ive moved on to all-grain instead of extract/partial mash ... but I have made numerous centennial/nugget combo's since.. always turn out great!

In hindsight I would agree with logan's comment... move the 30 minute addition to 15 minutes or less to get some more flavor/aroma out of it. Also would recommend at least a small amount of dry hops (an oz or two). Keep in mind that this was a total of 10 gallons into fermenter and you will loose some volume to trub/yeast/racking. I was limited to my fermentor space back then.

Good luck!

Yes, for the most part you can just half the recipe.
