I brewed a hoegaarden white clone from Austin homebrew on 3-23-12. Last week I posted a pic and was told it was krausen and to wait a week for it to drop I opened my fermenter today and took a hydrometer reading. I am at 1.012 and the color of the beer is great. My question is when I smell it it has an apple smell and taste almost is this normal, will it go away? Also in my pic is this lookin good to you guys?

An apple or cidery aroma or flavor is usually attributed to 'green beer' or young beer and will subside with age. Give it a taste test every week or two until it goes away.

*edit: it looks delicious.

as long as the FG is steady over a 3 day period you're good to go for bottling.
