Ok so this is my Cream Ale I am brewing to day. After seeing another recipe on here for a cream ale I feel like I botched it good!!

9# american two row
1# Honey malt
1# flaked maize
1# crystal 10L
12oz american flaked wheat
8oz Biscuit malt
8oz Carafoam

.5oz sorachi ace 60min.
.5oz sorachi ace 20min.
.5oz sorachi ace 5min.
AA-10.1

SG: 1.05
FG: 1.012
SRM: 6
IBU: 16.7
WLP-060 Cream Ale Blend
1tsp Irish moss 15 min to end of boil.

The gravity, SRM, IBU are measurements given from Hopville's calc. I was going for a Corona type taste with the lemon added. I am about absolutely sure that it will not taste like a Corona, but what ever...lol
Oh yah single rest at about 152. I want to make it as wet or creamy as possible so if I rest at a lower or higher temp what would be optimal??

The good thing about cream ale is it's a mixed style beer. But if you were going to do something like corona you'd probably want to go the american lager way. This looks pretty good though.

Thanks Double D. I concur about the Lagering.(BMC) style!! I just wanted a light tasting easy drinking lawnmower beer type of thing. Any mashing temps recommended for this grain bill???

Well yesterday went ok. I don't think we messed up any thing to bad. We NEED a Wort chiller soooo bad though!!! Soon!!!
