Ive got my recipe together for my next batch and will be using actual hazelnuts rather than extract flavoring(personal preference). Im planning on doing a light roast of approx. 3/4 lbs of hazelnuts and adding them into my secondary. As for the chocolate Ive used a quality bakers chocolate bar with great results added again in the secondary. I use a cheese grader to shave it down and add it to a nylon bag and leave it in there for a week.

Has anyone used the nuts rather than extract flavoring?
