So this is going to be a follow-up on my Bravo Red. Not a Blonde in style but a cream ale instead.
Mash at 149.
Ferment at 65F with WLP029 (Kolsch yeast).
OG 1.055
FG: 1.010
IBU: 18 (Rager)
Color: 2.8
Goal here is to brew a nice light, clean beer with a crisp, balanced taste. I want to get this on tap pretty fast and basically use it to grow up some yeast for my Kolsch that I will be brewing next.
I could probably go higher with the corn and maybe even the sugar (removing some of the malt), but I want it to have a decent malt to balance the hop flavor.
What do you think?
